Jesus
Jesus
occurs
984
times
in
983
verses
of
which
refer
to
a
man
other
than
'the
Son
of
God
in
human
flesh'.
The
other
three
usages
refer
to
other
men.
- In
Acts
7:45
and
Hebrews
4:8
we
see
Joshua,
of
the
Old
Testament,
called
Jesus
.
- In
Colossians
4:11
we
read
And
Jesus,
which
is
called
Justus,
who
are
of
the
circumcision.
These
only
are
my
fellowworkers
unto
the
kingdom
of
God,
which
have
been
a
comfort
unto
me.
This
saved
man
was
not
'the
Son
of
God
in
human
flesh'.
- Many
people
say
that
'Jesus
is
Saviour'.
This
definition
comes
from
men
and
not
from
the
Bible.
This
definition
leads
to
doctrinal
error.
- This
claim
causes
problems
and
leads
to
doctrinal
error
when
the
definition
does
not
fit
the
context.
This
mismatch
leads
to
people
claiming
that
there
are
errors
in
the
Bible
instead
of
them
claiming
that
the
definition
does
not
match
the
Bible.
- This
claim
is
not
true
for
the
three
verses
already
mentioned.
Neither
Joshua
nor
Justus
have
anything
to
do
with
our
salvation
beyond
providing
an
example.
- This
claim
leads
people
to
believe
that
only
Jesus
is
our
Saviour.
The
Bible
tells
us
that
God
the
Father
is
Saviour,
along
with
God
the
Holy
Spirit
and
the
Son
of
God
as
Lord
and
the
Son
of
God
as
Christ.
The
Bible
also
tells
us
that
each
do
a
different
function
for
our
salvation.
When
we
deny
the
roles
of
God,
other
than
Jesus,
we
deny
part
of
our
salvation
and
do
not
have
all
of
the
true
Biblical
salvation.
- Doctrinally,
Saviour
is
closest
to
the
word
'parent'.
It
is
foolishness
for
people
to
claim
that
their
only
parent
is
their
mother.
Each
parent
has
a
different
job
in
creating
a
child
and
in
raising
that
child.
Likewise,
each
of
our
Saviours
have
a
different
job
in
making
us
a
child
of
God
and
in
spiritually
maturing
us.
God
the
Father
provided
the
plan
and
the
power.
God
the
Holy
Spirit
keeps
us
eternally
secure.
God
the
Son
as
Lord
blots
out
the
legal
record
of
our
sin
in
Heaven's
criminal
law
book.
God
the
Son
as
Christ
provides
for
our
spiritual
maturing
and
our
ongoing
personal
relationship
with
God
after
our
initial
profession.
The
main
work
of
saving
our
soul
is
done
by
Christ.
- The
proper
Biblical
definition
of
a
word
is
what
is
true
in
every
usage
of
it.
(See
every
word
of
Deuteronomy
8:3;
Matthew
4:4
and
Luke
4:4).
- There
are
many
places
in
the
Bible
where
we
find
the
name
of
Jesus
but
the
context
is
not
speaking
about
salvation.
However,
every
place
is
talking
about
a
literal
human
man.
- Using
Jesus
for
'God
in
Human
flesh'
is
the
main
application
and
does
not
conflict
with
the
true
definition,
which
must
match
every
usage
within
the
Bible.
- Separating
the
definition
from
the
main
application
eliminates
claims
of
errors
within
the
Bible
while
also
allowing
us
to
get
the
true
doctrine
from
the
Bible.
The
main
doctrinal
usage
of
the
name
of
Jesus
,
within
the
Bible,
is
to
show
is
how
to
act
within
our
flesh
while
using
the
power
of
the
Holy
Spirit
to
bring
Glory
to
God.
- We
see
Jesus
act
like
a
literal
physical
man
in
every
place
that
the
name
is
used
within
the
Bible.
- Joshua
submitted
to
the
Son
of
God
Who
came
as
captain
of
the
host
of
the
LORD
.
He
shows
us
that
our
victory
in
this
life
only
comes
when
we
submit
to
God's
authority.
- Justus
was
a
significant
helper
to
Paul.
He
shows
us
that
one
of
our
main
functions
is
to
help
our
pastor
in
the
work
of
the
Lord.
- 'The
Son
of
God
in
human
flesh',
as
Jesus
acted
in
the
ways
listed
below.
These

the
Bible
says
these
things
and
these
links
cover
every
place
in
the
Bible
other
than
the
3mentioned.
The
way
that
He
acted
include:
- Jesus
is
the
name
or
is
of
a
physical
human
being
- Jesus
is
identified
with
place
of
His
birth
or
childhood
(Nazareth
/
Galilee)
- Someone
talked
to
Jesus
- Jesus
gave
a
command
as
a
man
or
talked
as
a
man
to
other
men
- Jesus
prayed
so
that
other
men
heard
Him
- Jesus
used
the
power
of
the
Holy
Ghost
to
do
miracles
- Someone
saw
/could
not
see
the
physical
man
named
Jesus
- Someone
physically
dealt
with
Jesus
- Someone
came
to
the
physical
man
called
Jesus
- Jesus
physically
stood
or
moved
- Jesus
(Son
of
man)
was
physically
betrayed
and
crucified
- Jesus
(Son
of
man)
was
physically
raised
from
the
dead
- Jesus
(Son
of
man)
will
physically
return
to
the
Earth
- Jesus
(Son
of
man)
will
physically
rule
on
the
Earth
as
King
- Someone
refuses
to
accept
that
Jesus
is
'God
in
human
flesh'.
- In
1John
and
2John
we
see
that
the
true
Biblical
antichrists
deny
that
the
Son
of
God
came
in
the
flesh.
They
teach
God's
people
and
godly
preachers
to
claim
that
the
Beast
of
Revelation
is
the
only
'Antichrist'
so
that
God's
people
will
ignore
them
and
accept
the
doctrinal
error
that
they
teach.
Jesus
is
recognized
as
'God
in
human
flesh'
within
the
Bible.
- Acts
7:55
tells
us
that
the
literal
physical
man
was
seen
in
Heaven
on
the
right
hand
of
God
by
Stephen
as
he
was
martyred.
- Hebrews
teaches
us
that
He
is
our
advocate
because
He
understands
our
infirmities
in
a
way
that
God
the
Father
cannot
.
Jesus
learned
obedience
and
learned
about
being
a
weak
human
being
through
personal
experience.
God
the
Father
never
experienced
these
things.
Therefore,
God
the
Son,
as
Jesus
,
understand
us
better
and
is
our
representative
in
Heaven.
- Hebrews
also
teaches
us
that
God
the
Son
is
our
high
priest
in
Heaven
and
represents
us
because
He
took
on
human
flesh
and
became
like
us.
He
could
not
be
our
high
priest
unless
He
was
a
human
being.
- Hebrews
also
teaches
us
that
the
New
Testament
and
everything
related
to
it
is
based
upon
His
priesthood
and
could
not
be
changed
from
the
Old
Testament
unless
there
was
a
change
from
the
Levitical
Priesthood.
- We
are
literally
told
that
physical
man
Jesus
is
the
Son
of
God
within
the
Bible.
- In
addition,
other
places
within
the
Bible
make
this
clear
without
saying
it
literally.
- In
other
places
we
see
God
the
Son
identified
and
then
addressed
as
a
literal
physical
man.
- Devils
dealt
with
the
physical
man
named
Jesus
and
recognized
Him
as
God.
- The
Bible
tells
us
different
roles
that
the
literal
physical
man
named
Jesus
has.
-
Lord
'
This
includes
recognizing
that
He
has
all
of
the
power
of
God.
Christ
'
This
recognizes
His
fulfillment
of
Old
Testament
prophecy.
Son
of
David
'
This
recognizes
His
fulfillment
of
Old
Testament
prophecy.
- A
King
of
Jews
or
King
of
Israel
'
This
recognizes
His
fulfillment
of
Old
Testament
prophecy.
- Prophet
- Priest
- Saviour
- Lamb
How
do
we
use
this
information
in
our
life
right
now?
- As
a
literal
physical
man
He
is
in
Heaven
right
now
representing
us
as
our
advocate
and
as
our
high
priest
.
Because
of
His
personal
experience
as
a
literal
man
He
understands
our
infirmities
and
gets
us
grace
and
mercy
from
God
the
Father
as
we
need
each.
He
also
is
the
one
to
get
us
peace
with
God
.
- As
a
literal
physical
man
He
died
to
pay
for
our
sins.
When
God
and
death
meet
death
loses.
He
had
to
die
as
a
literal
physical
man
because
God
cannot
die.
In
addition,
He
had
to
die
as
a
literal
physical
man
because
man
sinned
and,
therefore,
man
must
pay
for
man's
sin.
God
could
not
remain
righteous
if
an
angel,
or
God
or
any
other
type
of
being
paid
for
man's
sin.
- He
lived
as
a
literal
physical
man.
The
Gospels
tell
us
about
this.
He
was
was
in
all
points
tempted
like
as
we
are,
yet
without
sin
.
He
is
our
example
of
how
to
live
in
human
flesh
without
sinning.
- As
a
literal
physical
man
He
used
the
power
of
the
same
Holy
Spirit
that
we
are
given.
He
had
all
of
the
spiritual
gifts
while
we
only
have
some
of
the
spiritual
gifts.
In
addition,
He
had
them
without
limit
while
our
spiritual
gifts
are
limited
by
the
amount
of
faith
that
we
have.
But,
the
point
is
that
He
was
the
Creator
and
yet
He
had
to
set
aside
His
own
power
and
authority
in
order
to
live
and
die
as
a
weak
human
being.
This
is
a
separate
message
but
He
took
back
His
own
power
and
authority
only
after
He
was
in
Hell.
Without
explaining
all
of
that,
the
point
here
is
that
while
living
as
the
Gospels
report,
He
used
the
power
of
the
same
Holy
Spirit
that
is
given
to
each
saved
person.
He
is
our
example
of
how
to
use
the
power
of
the
Holy
Spirit
and
have
evidence
of
God
working
in
our
life.
- As
a
literal
physical
man
He
offers
us
much.
However,
God
gave
each
of
us
a
free
will
and
God
will
not
take
away
your
free
will
even
to
keep
you
from
the
lake
of
fire
for
eternity.
We
must
ask
God
to
make
Jesus
our
personal
Lord
,
and
agree
to
obey
Him,
in
order
to
get
the
things
which
He
gives
to
all
of
His
children
but
gives
only
to
His
children.
Romans
10:13makes
it
clear
that
we
must
call
upon
the
name
of
the
Lord
and
this
is
totally
different
from
'ask
Jesus
to
be
your
Saviour'.
The
Bible
is
literal
and
if
we
do
not
obey
it
literally
then
we
do
not
receive
what
God
promises.
The
Son
of
God
had
to
become
a
literal
physical
man
and
to
literally
suffer
and
die
in
order
to
pay
for
our
sins.
He
had
to
become
a
literal
physical
man
in
order
to
represent
us
in
Heaven.
Likewise,
we
must
each
literally
call
upon
the
name
of
the
Lord
in
order
to
be
saved
and
NO
other
religious
act
will
be
accepted
as
a
replacement.
