And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Missions is doing the 'Great Commission ' and the ministry of the church while away from home. Jesus gave the 'Great Commission ' to every saved person as a personal command. This means that each of us will personally answer at the judgment seat of Christ
for how we obeyed this command. All of Heaven will be there and know for all of eternity if we refuse to obey this personal command. However, God gave the job to pastors for getting God's people to do the Great Commission
. If the pastors don't do their job properly then God's people will not be involved in missions like God wants them to be involved.
This message is mainly aimed at the pastors to tell them what the Bible says so that they can warn their people and not face judgment by God for failing to warn their people.
Hebrews 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Most people emphasize the obey
and the submit
of this verse. However, preachers need to pay attention to the phrase they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief
.

Ezekiel 3:17-21 says: Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
This is a well-known passage warning preachers about the grief
that they will have at the judgment seat of Christ
. You are to:
hear the word at God's mouth, and give them warning from God. Preach God's word and not just religion or your opinion.
warning from Godto God's children who refuse to grow up. Ezekiel preached to Jews in captivity who were there because they followed their religious and cultural traditions which went against the word of God.
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Many Filipinos are following the American example and borrowing money to buy motorcycles and other things. Most Americans are so bound by debt that they can not go to serve God and can not even support missions. If the Filipino preachers don't warn Filipinos against buying on credit then the preachers will receive
griefat the
judgment seat of Christbecause the Filipinos in their care will not be able to go and serve God and even will stop supporting missions.
the wicked, who are God's children that do not obey God. It says to warn
a righteous man (who) doth turn from his righteousness. This is God's children who stop obeying God and even God's children who serve God less than in the past and also those who do not serve God more than in the past.
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. The only way that
thou hast delivered thy soulis if you cause God's children to stop sinning which means they must put more effort into srtving God than into anything else.
God will bless the saved people who do the 'Great Commission ' and curse those who do not do the 'Great Commission '. God will hold the pastors responsible for saved people who do not do 'Great Commission ' if the pastor fails to warn the saved people. The main way that Satan gets God's children to disobey God is to have God's preachers preach doctrinal error. Therefore, preachers need to pay attention to the warning that I give and verify these things against their Bible. Preachers need to warn their people because many of God's people, even many Baptist preachers, believe these doctrinal errors.

No suffering at the judgment seat of Christ, only loss of rewards. Look closely at 2Corinthians 5:10 and read what it literally says and not what you have been taught that it says. It says:
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad..

tearswhich God does not wipe away for over 1,000 yearss and I can show Bible references which tell us that disobedient children of God will have tears almost twice a week for those 1,000 yearss.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences..

consciencesof men. The word
manifestmeans 'revealed in every possible way '. Men and God are to look at our lives and see every possible evidence that we are the children of God and are working in the kingdom of God.
No tears in Heaven. God can not
wipe away all tears from their eyes(Revelation 21:4) unless there are tears to be wiped away.
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things ' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth..
covetousness is idolatry. If your people are not involved in mission giving then you have not taught them to support missions as part of doing the
great Commissionor they are
covetousand using the money for things of this world which God provides to support missions.
children of disobedience. This is not identifying lost people because they are not the children of God.
the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. If God's children do not obey God and let God change their lives in a way that the world can see the change then they will receive
the wrath of God. If the preacher fails to make this clear to his people then he will have
griefat the
judgment seat of Christ.
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. Spiritually mature saved people are to stop
walkingin the things listed here. Many preachers preach that we should stop doing these things but fail to warn God's children that that they will personally suffer
the wrath of Godif they continue to disobey the word of God and let God change their life.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory..
your life is hid with Christ in God. This physical life is not when the saved are to enjoy living. The saved are to enjoy life when they return with
Christ. If your life is truly
hidthen it is not showing until it is revealed. This current physical
lifeis a test to see how many eternal rewards we will have
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear.
For ye are deadmeans that we are to not respond to temptations of this physical life because things which are dead do not respond to temptations. However, we will not stop responding to temptations unless we obey the rest of this reference.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. You can tell what your
affectionsare set on by how much time you spend on different things. When a young man decides that he wants to marry a certain woman, he spends lots of time pursuing her. Preachers must teach their people to keep records of how much time they spend on pursing the things of God or they will deceive themselves into thinking they put more time into serving God than they actually spend.
seek those things which are above. The word
seekmeans put a lot of effort and time into finding
those things which are above. It also means keep doing the seeking until you find. If
those things which are aboveare not evident in a person's life then they have not found them.
Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed..
discipleswho followed Him for the blessing which they received in this world. John 6:66 tells us:
From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. However, Peter and the twelve trusted Jesus and followed Him even though they did not understand His sayings at the time. They received understanding later. When we understand we sat
I see. People who insist upon understanding before they obey
walk by sightand eventually will stop following. People who trust and obey even while they do not understand truly
walk by faithand will eventually receive understanding from God. It is the job of pastors to get God's people to
walk by faith.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.Pastors are to be an example of how to live. Pastors need to keep exact records of their time spent in the ministry and of all the money they receive, including gifts, and of how much they put into the Lord's work so that they can be an example to their own people. Pastors are to encourage their own people to put a higher percentage of their time and money into the Lord's work so that they can grow their faith and so that God can bless and provide for them.
